Blackjack Rules For Novice Players

If you want to play blackjack, you need to understand the basic rules of blackjack. It doesn’t matter if you are just learning the game or if you have been playing for a while. No matter how much you know there is always new information that will help you succeed in blackjack. In this article I will teach you the basic blackjack rules.

Basic Blackjack Rules – The object of blackjack is to beat out the dealer’s hand with the amount of chips you have available. You do this by splitting your bankroll between your two aces. Aces are valued ten. Before the game begins with each player has 2 cards, either of the dealer’s cards are hidden before the game begins. These cards can be used for any betting strategy.

Betting – Do not use the same strategy for betting again. This is one of the blackjack rules you should be aware of. You can use the same bets, the same number of times and you can use the same card combinations. However, if you hit stand you have to stop betting until the next round in multi deck casinos. Do not ever bet the same value twice in one round.

Number of decks – Most casinos allow you to play with up to five decks. You must be careful with how many decks you are using. You don’t want to get caught with more than five cards in multi casinos. If you have more than five decks you will be at risk for having your bets taken from you (if you are caught you forfeit all your chips).

High Card Value – You must never bet more than the value of your high cards. If you bet more than the high cards you will be charged a high fee by the casino. Never play more than your pockets limit. If you are dealt a high card value always double the high cards value so you will always have a chance of getting out. However, you should never triple or more high cards unless you have an ace in your hand.

Ace Pair – Never split your hands between two aces or over being dealt a full house. If you are dealt an ace and you have two aces you must keep only one aces as your starting hand. If you have three aces you must split your starting hand between three aces or less.
